100th Post Retrospect

The day has dawned. This is my 100th post. We have come on a long long journey to get here, starting December 25th, 2008. I don't really know what inspired me to start writing. I had no idea I would be blessed with all these wonderful followers, that, still, half the time I scratch my head at, and solemnly wonder where you all came from. But I really do have the honor to read all of your blogs, and I am so blessed. Especially the ones that glorify our Father God.

I never thought much about writing. I never thought it came this easy. I just started out, not knowing what I was doing. One of my favorite posts are my first ones though. The ones who only have about 1, or 2 comments, most likely from Emma, just being nice. Ah, I know, pathetic.

There are a million directions to take [my blog], and I have no idea in which one I shall go. I just know this, I want everything I write to be true, and it to be something that Jesus would appreciate.

Today, I spoke to my Great-Aunt Nancy, and she asked if I was still into Koala bears. This stopped me dead in my tracks. "Koala Bears?" I asked. "Yes, you know, last time I saw you [2 years ago], we talked and you said you were really into Australia".

I had honestly forgot about that. The point really has nothing to do with Australia, the point has everything to do with "phases". What if my skateboarding is just a "phase"? Like when I wanted to be a great actress?

What if my writing is a "phase"? It's all very disturbing to me, to think that I change before my own eyes, and I don't even notice it.

Another thing is, today, we were all together, and my Dad was showing off my modeling pictures. It was all very embarrassing. I was only a tee shirt model, for a local business, and I was 13. I looked SO LITTLE. I mean, I could not believe it. And don't think that I'm about to link the website to where you can view them. No way.

Um, I am tired. BUT!! All you "This is the story of a girl..." formerly "Unapologetic Apathy" formerly "The View From My Window" fans out there, help me celebrate this 100th post by telling me some of your favorite previous posts that I have written, and what you like/dislike about it, and my writing style. Because you CAN teach a old dog new tricks. ;)

PEACE & LOVE!!!

Jillian

  6. I had 100 on my old one but no one ever read it. So far on my new one I have 30 posts as of today :) my cousin said that a couple years ago I was really into ipods and I do not remember that at all. Allot of the time I hope that certain parts of my life are just 'phases'. Maybe they are. I'll just have to wait and see. Jesus loves you! :)

I love hearing things that aren't my own pathetic echoes.
