Remember the day
when we ran away
and we saw the world
for the first time

We drove through the night
to those big city lights
and we knew that
we could do anything
anything at all _SR

  1. Short, sweet and favorite kind of poetry. Like Edgar Allen Poe's "El Dorado"...although that isn't so sweet.

  2. Haha, more like spooky.

But I think that in life, if you can say less words, with more meaning, than you have truly accomplished something.

  3. I do remember!

    Fantastic poetry, I might add.

  4. It's Sanctus Real, and this line is forever in my heart.

"Sometimes the world seems like a big hole. You spend all your life shouting down it and all you hear are echoes of some idiot yelling nonsense down a hole"
_Adam Duritz

I love hearing things that aren't my own pathetic echoes.
