Meet my cousin's band, "The Man Cave Men"

Okay, there comes a point in everyone's lives, when you see someone you love excel at something.
It comes out in the least expected ways, and definitely the most unexpected times. But when you see it, it makes you so happy

That is what happened with my cousins.

I have played piano all my 14 year.
Okay, 10 of my 14 years.
And I sort of peddled along with it, until I noticed that some people had caught up with me.

My cousin Michael is one of the funniest/most fun people I know. He is also very talented, and determined.
So, when he started playing the guitar, I knew he had the determination to turn it into something wonderful, something amazing. And he did.

I know you might be reading this Michael, and these things I am saying may sound rather surprising to you, because I have never been particularly good at expressing things.
But, at least I am writing them now, so please listen.

You are an incredible person. You never cease to amaze me. You can get on my nerves, true, and I probably get on yours, but I am glad you are my cousin. And I like emailing you, cos, truth be told, I really don't talk to my family enough, and it makes me feel glad when I talk to you.

You go out, and show the world, you hear me?
Say, "Yes Ma'am".

Steven, you too!
Although you rarely check your mail, let alone read my blog;
You are a very good drummer. Keep working it. If it's something you want, go for it.
But, don't feel pressured to do something you dislike (I still have your words running through my head, "but I don't WANT to be in a band!!"). Do what you love, and love what you do.

Uncle Bob,
you are truly an amazing, and encouraging uncle. I thank God for you.

So, with no further ado,
here is your song, modified as to not show your faces.

Michael- Vocals, guitar
Steven-Drums
U. BoB- Bass

Song: Brain Stew

  6. Hey, the view from my window is pretty good from my bed. How's the view from La La Land? On the night you posted your last post, I picked up "The Prayer of Jabez" and began reading it again. I ended up finishing it that night. It is a very good book and I've been praying the prayer of Jabez every day. I'll see what God does. Have you read, "Secrets of the Vine"? I'm reading it now. It's like a guide to how God works in your life after you pray the prayer of Jabez using Jesus parable found in John 15:5,8. It's also good.

What kind of camera do you have. - Bob

I love hearing things that aren't my own pathetic echoes.
