*runs in through the back door, throws her bag onto a side table, pulls her hair out of a ponytail, drops into the chair across from you, and gives a small apologetic Mona Lisa smile*

Hey. I'm sorry I've been gone for so long.

Life has a funny way of taking up all of your time.

I guess the elephant in the kitchen would be Christmas, which is quickly approaching.

Oh Christmas.

We have been receiving Christmas cards from many people lately.
And one curious trend is that people write everything that has happened in the last year inside little innocent looking sheets of paper. Seriously. Everything. Exclamation point.
One nice and long one even included the heights and weights of individual family members.
*awkward pause, cocks head to the side, tries to figure out why people think she'd give a....a.....a.....care?*

This long paragraph has a point to it. I don't want my blog to be like that.

So, I honestly want to know how you are. Because it's not about me.
My gosh, it's not about me. Plus, I already know ALL there possibly is to know about me.

Fill out the answers any or all of the following questions in my comments, okay?

1. What are you doing for Christmas/Hanukah/Kwanza?
2. Any quirky holiday traditions?
3. Funny story?
4. Anything that you really really want?
5. If you could have one impossible thing for Christmas, what would it be?
6. Favorite ways to spend holiday break?
7. Your middle name?

Well, since I have had quite an interesting few weeks, I'm supposing I wont be back for a little bit.

One more thing! December 25th marks the 2nd anniversary of this blog.
Cool, eh? Special shout out to Yerika, who is my longest still active blogger friend.

Share the love? Leave me a couple questions on my Formspring (that was a link).
It amuses me to no end.

Have a wonderful holiday.

  1. I have a feeling I'd be way too wordy if I tried to answer all of those questions at once, so i'll pick and choose short ones.
    6. Usually, I have huge plans to be productive, but put them to the wayside to instead be a lazy bum.

Although I don't know what formspring is or how it works, I'll attempt to amuse (hopefully to no end).

  2. 1. I am not sure what I'm doing for Christmas =) but before then I'm gonna do something about gifts... oh, but I picked up my best friend from the airport yesterday!! so happy to see him.
    2. Quirky holiday traditions... hmm, well not really other than the fact that the family room's door is always locked so we can't peek at the presents =P but that's not really a tradition...
    3. Funny story, I died laughing =P not really sure what kinda humor that is... sorry, most people probably wouldn't get that
    4. I just really really want music. oh, but I am excited that I'm getting a blue shirt. I don't have one and need one so... 's all good
    5. Oh, yes. My first one would simply be to see the beautifulest girl in the world smile again with her family. Then would come hanging with the uo dudes. then something I really want would be to go to heaven where both will happen! =)
    6. Sleeping and hugging my best friend.
    7. Tunafish. Yes it is.

But since blogs are still kind of about the author of the blog, you have to answer these too =) Jesus loves you!

  4. You started your blog on Christmas? That's pretty cool sauce.

    1) Converting to Judaism.
    2) Sort of. Every Christmas Eve my family dresses up as heathen elf demons and worship/dance around a small wooden Santa Claus figurine.
    3) My sister got lost last Christmas. Yeah...she never turned up. Is that a funny story?
    4) A lamp from Ikea.
    5) Nine tickets to Europe and eight tickets to a European Regina Spektor concert (I plan to dispose of one family member along the way.)
    6) Hibernating.
    7) (Sigh.) Rugeley.

    Happy Christmas Break!

  6. Finally, I'm gonna get back into reading and posting, cause as of late, I've been slacking, but proceed forth with the questions, I must.
The first) For Christmas, just gonna celebrate with the family pretty much, thats all there is really to it.
Numero Dos)Ever since my brother and I have been able to, my family tends to open gifts just right after midnight, the earliest moments of Christmas
    E)Sadly none comes to mind
IV)There isn't really much that I want this year, in fact, I could probably go without any gifts and still be pretty satisfied cause life is good
12-7)I'd definitely say a super power cause that would be just really cool, I wouldn't be to picky other than to say it should be a useful one, I don't need something like super sweat
Upside down 9)I just love to just chill, and not have to many worries, go with the flow
I've run out of ways to number these) I do have a middle name, its not special but I don't divulge it

I love hearing things that aren't my own pathetic echoes.
