"Happy Artificial Holiday With Strong Commercial Overtones" _Lee from SFNL

Haha. Love that.

I was in the car with my Dad last night, we were coming home from a short errand, and he was blasting Green Day. I love my Dad! How may dads would do that?

It's so funny, my Dad is a huge rock guy, and my Mom LOVES classical music.
I have had a very diverse musical experience.

The thing about Green Day, though, it stinks that they swear in their music.
I mean, why?
It's pointless.

Peace!

  2. I like Green Day. And who cares if everyone swears once and a while. Its only been... o forget it. Long story. Sadly I am a theist. I am not strong enough yet to be an atheist, but I may get there as time goes on.

  3. My dad is obsessed with country music, and my mom is a punkrocker. It's so funny when she comes to pick me up and she has the window down while she rocks out to The Clash.

I like your dad and i haven't even met him yet! I think it's great when family's portray a very diverse environment in things like music.

Hmm, i think artist swear in their music to make a point, especially nowadays with all this junk about "politically correct." it gives some genres a certain amount of eloquence when they push the boundaries of scensorship to the limits,

either that or they just have a limited vocabulary. you be the judge!

  4. i agreeeee :) Actually last night I kinda had a whole revelation. Like how pointless swearing is in music. And I really do want to delete every song on my ipod that doesnt glorify God, but I couldnt bring myself to. But I did delete all the songs that cuss like OFTEN.

I know how you feel. It seemed to bother me a lot last night, so I just decieded to delete them all. hahah

I love hearing things that aren't my own pathetic echoes.
